David Z. Wang, now with 30 years of experience into his career, has brought his artistic skills to perfection. David excels in brush techniques using Chinese watercolors on rice paper. His expertise came from 8 years of formal academic training in China's best and oldest art institution, the China Art Academy, where he started persistently pursueing a fresh way of visual expression. He found the rice paper to be the most sensitive media onto which he projects his personal emotions.

Wang's works reveal a solid training that is deeply rooted in a great tradition, yet they demonstrate at the same time a very modern approach and an openminded vitality. While most of his works present the viewer with a style both modern and classic, an atmosphere of poetic reality, every piece of his artwork is infused with a charm imagination by itself.

Recently he has created quite a few watercolor series and serial peices of classic style paintings. His flowers, landscapes and exquisite abstract paintings are attracting more and more collectors. David Z. Wang has proved himself tobe a rare presend day artist with a great potential.
